Global fintech Airwallex has unveiled its first out of home campaign with oOh!media in Melbourne.
he announcement:
Leading global fintech Airwallex, has today unveiled its out of home campaign with oOh!media, as it continues to offer an alternative to traditional banking and empower businesses to operate across borders. This is the first ever Australian out of home campaign for Airwallex, with Melbourne —- its founding city — as the chosen campaign location.
The campaign’s key creative concept, ‘You don’t need a bank to run your business’, challenges the idea that traditional money management systems are the only option to support a business’ financial needs. Appearing on billboards, office advertising and digital channels across Melbourne, the campaign aims to communicate how Airwallex can empower local small and medium-sized (SME) businesses to grow without borders, while managing costs.
The multi-week campaign comes after an extended lockdown period in Melbourne amid the ongoing pandemic, and is inspired by some of the biggest pain points many SME businesses face when making payments internationally – high fees, inefficient payment options and low transparency. It sets out to encourage ambitious businesses to manage their money confidently and reinvest in growth, and to highlight how profit margins can be impacted by traditional financial services.
“We are incredibly excited to be rolling out our first-ever, out of home campaign in Melbourne, at a time where many businesses are planning their path to recovery in a post-lockdown world,” said Brendan Connaughton, Growth Marketing Lead at Airwallex.
“The campaign aims to transform how organisations see their financial services provider; from a mechanism for managing funds and making payments, to a catalyst for business growth and success across borders,” Brendan continued. “We see Airwallex at the heart of this change, unlocking new markets and revenue streams which enable businesses to grow.”
