In 2017, NextDrive expanded to Japan, providing sustainable energy solutions to major power companies and leaders in the gas, oil, and automotive sectors. In 2023, it won the "Annual New Energy Grand Prize Chairman's Award" from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, becoming the first SaaS service provider to do so.
