The 2020 NBA draft combine has been revamped for the COVID-19 pandemic, with the league tapping HomeCourt to record video and analytics of a prospect’s tryout. Teams and scouts will track player data through Combine HQ, a feature created within Fusion Sport’s athlete management system, Smartabase.
Rather than assess all prospects at a central location, each draft prospect will need to visit the NBA facility closest to his residence between Sept. 28 and Oct. 16. League-affiliated physicians on site will perform medical evaluations. The NBA draft is scheduled for Nov. 18.
